Condolence & Memory Journal

I only had the pleasure of knowing Vera for a short time, but we had a nice time together. She was wonderful to be around. Her family is in my thoughts and prayer during this time. May God Bless You, Sheri McCreary (the caregiver on Thursdays)

To our dear lifelong friends, This is a sad day for us. Our families spent much of our childhood together; weekends and holidays. It was sad losing our Dad's, and now Vera. Mom, Elva, Rodney and I send our deepest Sympathies. "Hey Mable......" Love to you all, Susie

Vera was a warm, friendly, caring lady -- and a fount of knowledge about the Sand Creek area. Vera served as a volunteer at the Lenawee Historical Museum for years, and she was just wonderful. Learning of her passing is very sad news. Condolences to her family.

Very sorry to hear of Vera's death. I certainly have lots of memories of her, Stub and my folks. There aren't many of their generation left. I continue to live in Atlanta after nearly 30 years and have been retired for nine. I don't make it up to Lenawee often but will be there in less than a month for the 50th reunion of my SCHS class. My condolences to all of you.
